Horizon – Wyeth Walk #199

I loved the dark greens and blues of the ocean and sky today, and the way the light made the sand and the kids glow – lovely visit to the beach this weekend with friends whose teenage daughter was wonderful playing with our children.  The composition of this scene, with the stark horizon, broad stripes of color, figures set against the ocean, and the glowing foreground, reminded me of Bronze Age by Jamie Wyeth.
