Wyeth Walks

Evening at Kuerners – Wyeth Walk #113

I loved the way the light was playing along the tree lines.  This resulting image reminds me of the composition of Andrew Wyeth’s Evening at Kuerners.  – one of my favorite Wyeth paintings.  Besides the beautiful lines askew, the house which is pure white paper:

“…that square house… with the moonlight casting such a strange liquid light on its side.“ – Andrew Wyeth

I would love to create some music with a “strange liquid light” quality.  I’m going to think of that imagery the next time I am sitting to improvise at the piano.
