Glimpses of View – Wyeth Walk #136

I came across this quote today from the Wyeths – that it’s better to have an ocean view (or any beautiful view) hidden, able to be stumbled on and discovered anew with fresh eyes.  If we have the beautiful view all the time we stop noticing it.

I am so incredibly happy to be in Maine, words cannot express how rejuvenating this trip is.  I surely have fresh eyes on these views.  The magic, the wonder, and the awe are visceral.  The glimpse of window in the photo above teases us… this is what it is hiding:
