Joy – Wyeth Walk #47

Today I took my daughter on our first trip by ourselves to the Brandywine River Museum of Art (we usually have older brother in tow). Was a wonderful morning of storybooks, portrait viewing, and collage-making, followed by she and I suiting up in our boots and walking along the muddy riverbanks (in this shot she is “keeping the rocks out of the mud”).

I am grateful for the Wyeth legacy which has made such a wonderful place to visit to share nature and art with my children!
