Wyeth Walks

Music – Wyeth Walk #77

The day has been filled with music – first with myriads of birds creating a natural symphony- I didn’t dare turn on my headphones for podcast or music to interrupt their performances.  Had a lovely sitting meditation by the creek with this music all around me.  A glorious morning walk, temperature perfect, sky deep blue.  Later, a wonderful first time meeting with area composer Van Stiefel who created his own Wyeth songs, premiered at West Chester University in 2013.  What a joy to meet a like-minded creator in my own back yard!  Later this evening I get to attend a concert at the Brandywine River Museum of Art (as we all know, one of my favorite places) for a piano-voice recital including solo piano Mussorgsky‘s PIctures at an Exhibition (a fav!).

Music indeed, so happy to be surrounded by it in my life.  I love this picture of the swirling vine, makes me think of music in the plants, reminds me it is everywhere.
