On the Horizon – Wyeth Walk #177
“It may be perfect folly to waste the time writing, or rather, trying to write about such abstract matter…” – NC Wyeth, 1909
I really have no idea how this spider ties in with art or music, other than I shot it with one of my favorite camera angles now- holding the phone down near the ground and shooting up towards the sky. I liked the way it looked like the spider was in a fetal position, and the image of a heart is poking its way through the blurry trees – both symbols to me of my upcoming weeks of birthing something new with love- but not knowing where the journey will take me – I’m starting to gather all my of materials and gear up for my pending trip to Wyoming – 2 weeks composing Wyeth music at the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts. No phone, extremely limited wifi, and no responsibilities. Just me and hiking trails and a yoga mat and a piano. Aaaaahhhhhh
