Real and Alive – Wyeth Walk #142
“God, just to paint one piece of kelp and make it real and alive.” – Andrew Wyeth (1)
This spider web globe was glowing and defying description, as pulses of rainbow lights shot across the threads like miniature comets glowing in the late afternoon sun. I have never seen anything so beautiful. Or perhaps I should say I have never seen anything more beautiful. Not sure I did it justice with a photograph, I think perhaps the deepest mysteries can’t be captured in photos or paintings. But we can hint at them.
