Room in the Mirror – Wyeth Walk #131

I loved the way the brown plant interplayed with the green leaves, with the overcast sky beyond.  The colors and leaf shapes reminded me of the wallpaper in Andrew Wyeth’s Room in the Mirror, Study, but also in a lot of Wyeth’s works (looking at the National Gallery of Art catalog from 2014), I see dirty or time-worn walls with similar scratchy layering and “overcast” background.  I’m wondering how I can create the overcast background of music with piano overtones, and then overlay lines of sound in a soft way.
