Roots – Wyeth Walk #158
The light pre-rain storm was particularly lovely, making everything glow. The moss at the base of this tree caught my eye, which then was attracted by the tangled roots. Made me immediately think of Jamie Wyeth’s great paintings of roots, including by that title http://www.wikiart.org/en/jamie-wyeth/roots-1971
Fun practicing Schubert today, it’s a joy to work on technique and polishing a song with no deadline or project in mind, just for the joy of practice.
