Tonal Quality – Wyeth Walk #21

“If my work has any importance at all, it will live not for its subject matter but on its tonal off-and-on quality on its shapes…” – Andrew
Wyeth

I forgot to walk this morning.  Not sure how I forgot, but I did- got so wrapped up in my writing project.  Was time to feed kiddos dinner and the light was leaving quickly… threw food on the table and then skedaddled out to catch the last light of the day.  I’ve been enjoying walking past this puddle every day and seeing its different states of ice.  Today it was surrounded by deep squishy mud, and it had a lovely glow in the fading light.
