World in the Spotlights – Wyeth Walk #148

Today was the day Maiden’s Voyage left my private world.  I’ve been living with this music for months, for years. Today it was released into the greater world.  And now I get to watch as people take it in.  It will be in the spotlights for a while- and I have to let it go, and let others interpret it in their own ways.  Jamie Wyeth spoke about this in his interview at the Brandywine River Museum of Art earlier this year – that once you let a painting go into the world, you have to allow all the interpretations and analyses happen- that the painting then belongs to the viewers.  Maiden’s Voyage now belongs to you… I hope you enjoy it!
